Anae skirt Hack – Making a mini skirt

Anae skirt Hack – Making a mini skirt

The Anae skirt pattern is such a simple design that it can be part of almost any look. I personally think it has a very spring-like feel to it. It is a midi length flared skirt pattern.
The design is very simple and therefore you can make a change in the length of the skirt even if you are still a beginner. With one easy step you can go from a midi skirt length to a mini skirt.

When sewing this skirt in a midi length my advice is always to use light fabrics and with fall such as crepes because this way the skirt will have movement and will be beautiful when walking. The cut of this skirt is on the bias so it will adapt to the body as you move.
However if you make this skirt in a mini length the range of fabrics can be much wider. When the skirt is short it doesn’t really have a lot of flounce so even if the fabric is not so light it will still look nice.

In the following chart you can see how to easily shorten the length of the skirt.

Either way, long or short, you can create super cute looks with this skirt.

See you soon!!
