Apolo vest HACK – Shorter!
Sometimes you don't have to make big changes to make a garment look different. Details like changing the length of the garment and using a different fabric can make a big change. Check out the Apolo vest! Even the simplest pattern can be super versatile.
This alteration of the Apolo vest pattern is very simple and can be done without any knowledge of pattern making. As you can see in the chart the only pieces that we are going to modify are the front and the back pieces.
The other pieces will be the same.

This notch indicates the position of the waistline in the pattern.
You can use it as a reference when making the pattern longer or shorter.
Taking the horizontal line of the waist as a reference you can shorten the pattern by drawing a parallel line at the height you want.
