One question you may have is how to sew the collars of the pack if the neckline of your garment is different.
It’s actually very simple because in the collar patterns I include a sample neckline so you can redraw it in your pattern. See for example these two collars that are sewn on the same neckline. As you can see one is the sailor collar that I used in the Cecilia dress.
In the graphics that you can see right here I will explain how you can adapt the collar of your Cecilia dress so you can sew other collars and have different dresses!
Before you start remember that to make the modification it is better to remove the seam allowance from the shoulder and neckline area as our patterns usually have the seam allowance included.
Very simple! Once you have tried it on one pattern you will see how you can easily do it on any other, because the process is always the same.
Look what beautiful pictures I took the other day in the woods. I don’t know why but I have a certain attraction for the red color in contrast with the green shades of a forest, it’s like finding something mysterious that doesn’t fit but at the same time it does.
Be creative! See you soon!
